I have received a few questions related to licensing. One option is to dedicate the library to the public domain, much like the SQLite copyright. The question is whether I can gather the necessary support to make this viable. Alternatively, it would be great if it shipped along with the other C++ libraries that make up the Visual C++ development tools, since the Modern C++ Library has been designed specifically for the Visual C++ compiler. If you work on the Microsoft Visual C++ team or if you are interested in sponsoring the Modern C++ Library please get in touch with Kenny Kerr.

Update: The Modern library is available on GitHub with an MIT license.
